Partial Solar Eclipse

Today, in the UK we had a partial solar eclipse. Whilst my phone couldn’t capture the actual sun properly due to the brightness , I did get a lens flare which clearly shows the crescent. So I was happy. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun and can only happen during a new moon. Spiritually therefore, such new moons are said to usher in intense life changing events. Solar eclipses can also represent new beginnings and are good opportunities for reflection. They can help us come to terms with hidden traumas and fears which have been buried for too long. They are also sources of enchantment and can help shift our focus out of our physical bodies and can generate a greater sense of connection with the universe. They bring humility and recognition that we are part of a far greater existence than we ever imagined.
